The Transplant Games have a rich and memorable history of bringing together a community of individuals touched by the miracle of donation and transplantation for more than 30 years.

The Transplant Team of Connecticut seeks to honor organ, eye, and tissue donors, living donors, and donor families by showcasing the health and wellness experienced by transplant recipients. It also educates people about organ, eye, and tissue donation and empowers them to make the decision to give the gift of life.

Calling all Living Donors!
You're Invited to Make History!

Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attempt to break the record for the largest gathering of living donors in history at the Transplant Games of America in Denver, Colorado on June 20, 2026.

The Life's Short Live It Guinness Attempt - an official Guinness World Record challenge will take place to break the standing record of 410 living donors in one place (set in 2018 by Transplant Village Team). You're Invited to Make History & Honor a Legacy.

This challenge is dedicated to the memory of Craig Hostert, two-time kidney recipient, cancer warrior, and co-founder of the Life's Short Live It movement with his wife Kathleen. Craig lived each day with gratitude, joy, and determination, inspiring countless others to embrace life fully. Though Craig passed away in 2024, his spirit lives on in this historic gathering.
